Austin

Austin's the home of famous Emma Nevada. Yeah, who's Emma Nevada?

She was born Emma Wixon, daughter of an Austin doctor. She began singing in the Methodist choir. In 1877 she went to Europe where she achieved great success as an opera singer. She sang at the coronation of George VI and was a favorite of Queen Victoria who gave her a diamond necklace worth $100,000.

So now you know.

Austin's also home of the famous Gridley sack of flour and the Stokes Castle. If you want to learn more, visit. We don't want to reproduce the Welcome to Austin paper word for word.

Have lunch at the Toyiabe Cafe. Tell them Craig and Lisa sent you'll. They'll have no idea who we are.
